What we collect, why, and how you can control it.

What we collect
Job Prepper collects the minimum needed to run the service: your email address (if you sign in or purchase access), an optional display name, and the expiry date of any paid access period. If you take a practice test, your answers and score are processed locally in your browser to show your results — they are not sent to or stored on our servers unless you're signed in, in which case basic test statistics (score, difficulty, date) are saved to your account so your dashboard can show your history.
Payment data
All payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. Job Prepper never receives, transmits, or stores your card number, expiry date, or CVC — see our Payments page for details. Stripe may process your data under its own privacy policy as an independent data controller.
Cookies and local storage
Job Prepper uses only essential cookies and browser local storage — to keep you signed in (via Supabase) and to remember your free-trial status and language preference. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Third parties
We use Supabase for authentication and account storage, and Stripe for payment processing. Both are contracted data processors bound by their own security and privacy obligations. We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email support@jobprepper.io and we'll handle it within a reasonable time, typically a few days.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Job Prepper after a change means you accept the updated policy.
